What is a physiotherapist?

Physiotherapists treat musculoskeletal (injuries to muscles and bones), neurological, (ie strokes, dementia) and respiratory conditions (ie asthma, COPD) by using evidence based practice.

How does physiotherapy work?

By using skills including manipulation, mobilisation, massage, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, ultrasound and a tailored rehabilitation plan we can restore function, reduce pain and help you return to a pre-injury state.

Early diagnosis is important, “current medical evidence shows that physiotherapy is the most effective intervention in the first eight weeks of a musculoskeletal injury” (faculty of Occupational Medicine 2000).

We also offer:

  • Kenesio taping
  • Lymphatic drainage taping
  • Sports massage
  • DSE Assessments
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Dry needling
  • Ultrasound

Initial Assessments £45.00 (1 hour)
Treatments £35.00 (1/2 hour)
Classes £10.00 (per class)
