Making Appointments
The Practice operates an initial phone appointment system where you can discuss your concern with a clinician who will determine if a face to face appointment is needed.
Your assigned clinician (GP, Pharmacist or Advanced Nurse Practitioner) is capable of diagnosing your condition, and prescribing medication or booking referrals if required. All Pharmacists and Advanced Nurse Practitioner are prescribers and are supported by a GP onsite to ensure you have a definitive resolution of your query on the day.
Appointments can be made during the practice opening times through our trained Healthcare support workers (receptionist/telephonist). This will ask you about your condition over the phone, or when you come and see us on site at reception, so that they can guide you to the correct clinician.
Your Prescriptions
Prescriptions are sent directly to your chosen pharmacy. Please allow 48 hours before collection and do not request items that you do not need.
Repeat prescriptions are available for a set period of time until the review date and these can be issued by the practice receptionist if the clinician has already reviewed and authorised. This can be done for you over the phone.
You can order your repeat prescription online, by calling the practice or by handing a written request in at reception.
